Definition
Phenomenon in which orbit prediction errors around collinear libration points grow exponentially with time: ||ΔX|| ~ ||ΔX₀|| · e^(δT), where δ is the divergence rate constant and T is the prediction time. This is a direct manifestation of orbital instability: initial position errors on the order of tens of meters can diverge to tens of kilometers within about ten days.
