Definition
A circular orbit with the largest perigee radius reachable by the stable manifolds of a Lyapunov orbit around L₁, with radius approximately 0.20 nondimensional units (~80,000 km). It serves as the starting point for the Earth segment of low-energy cislunar transfers, and the intersection between stable manifolds and this orbit determines the minimum time of flight.
Application Value
This term has significant practical applications in cislunar mission planning and execution.
