Definition

The dynamical problem of four bodies under mutual gravitational attraction. In this paper, it extends the Earth-Moon restricted three-body problem by adding the Sun as a fourth gravitational source, capturing the Sun's periodic perturbation on orbits near libration points.

Application Value

Four-Body Problem plays an important role in orbit maneuver design, analysis, and transfer planning for cislunar missions.
