Definition
The tubular geometric structure formed by invariant manifolds of small-amplitude periodic orbits. The manifolds create tubes in phase space that constrain spacecraft motion within them. Stable manifolds of large-amplitude Lyapunov orbits lose this tubular structure, allowing them to spread and reach regions near Earth.
