Definition
Two angular parameters describing the thrust vector direction in the rotating frame. The horizontal angle θ₁ is the angle between the thrust vector and the x-axis in the xOy plane; the vertical angle θ₂ is the angle between the thrust vector and the xOy plane. Optimal control theory shows that the thrust direction should be antiparallel to the costate velocity vector.
Application Value
This concept provides fundamental support in cislunar space research and mission design. In practical applications, the appropriate analysis method should be selected based on specific mission scenarios and constraints.
