Definition
A low-thrust guidance method that constructs a Lyapunov function from orbital element errors (semi-major axis, eccentricity) and solves the control law along the maximum gradient direction to progressively steer the orbit toward target values. Used in this paper for the low-thrust segments of GEO deorbiting and lunar capture.
Application Value
This concept has practical applications in cislunar space science and engineering. Related research supports the planning, implementation, and operations of cislunar missions, forming an integral part of the knowledge system in this field.
