Definition
A low-energy transfer combining Lunar Gravity Assist (LGA) with Weak Stability Boundary (WSB). The spacecraft first flybys the Moon via a lunar transfer orbit, raising the apogee to the WSB region, then uses solar gravity to enter the target orbit. Compared to direct WSB transfer, it reduces the launch delta-v by 60 to 70 m/s.
Application Value
LGA+WSB Transfer is an important orbit type in cislunar trajectory design, widely applied in mission planning.
