SMART-like Transfer
Author: Tianjiang Shuo Website: https://cislunarspace.cn
Definition
A class of low-energy cislunar transfer trajectories exemplified by ESA's SMART-1 mission. The spacecraft's Jacobi energy is just below the L₁ critical value with the neck region barely open, undergoing multiple resonance hops near the Moon to progressively shift into new near-resonant states until entering the Moon's sphere of influence. Classified as cislunar (as opposed to translunar) transfers.
Application Value
根据Jacobi能量划分转移可行区域,可以快速筛选出满足任务约束的地月转移轨道方案,减少轨道优化的搜索空间。
