Definition
In the Circular Restricted Three-Body Problem, the region of allowed motion in configuration space determined by the Jacobi constant. Zero-velocity surfaces divide the space into allowed and forbidden regions. As the Jacobi constant varies, Hill regions exhibit five distinct geometric configurations, ranging from fully connected to separate regions enclosing each primary.
