Definition
A differential-correction-based guidance computation tool introduced by Howell and Pernicka in 1987. It places impulsive maneuvers at the endpoints of each guidance arc and solves for feasible trajectories through two-level iteration (inner constraint satisfaction, outer target matching). A constrained variant was subsequently developed for Orion spacecraft autonomous Earth-return guidance.
Application Value
The 两级靶点器 concept is applied in cislunar space research, providing technical support or analytical methods for lunar exploration missions.
