Definition
The deviation of the Moon's gravity field from a perfect sphere, modeled by spherical harmonic expansion. For orbits with low perilune altitude (e.g., NRHOs), NSLG perturbations significantly increase station-keeping cost. For distant orbits (e.g., DROs, halos), the effect is negligible.
