Definition
A two-impulse Earth-to-libration-point transfer analogous to the Hohmann transfer. The apogee of an Earth orbit is raised to the altitude of the target libration point orbit, followed by an orbit insertion maneuver. Simple but expensive for EML2 due to velocity mismatch at arrival.
Application Value
