Definition
A simplified model of the three-body problem: two massive primaries move under mutual gravitation, while a third massless body (spacecraft) is acted upon by both primaries but does not affect their motion. When the primaries orbit in circles, it is called the circular restricted three-body problem (CR3BP); in elliptic orbits, the elliptic restricted three-body problem (ERTBP). This model is the fundamental framework for studying cislunar orbital dynamics.
Application Value
The 限制性三体问题 concept is applied in cislunar space research, providing technical support or analytical methods for lunar exploration missions.
