System-to-System Transfer

Definition
A transfer that exploits the intersection of invariant manifold tubes from two overlapping three-body systems (e.g., Earth–Moon and Sun–Earth) to deliver a spacecraft from a libration point orbit in one system to another. The four-body Sun–Earth–Moon problem is decomposed into two coupled three-body problems, and manifold tube overlaps enable transfers at very low or zero ΔV cost.
Application Value
This concept plays an important role in cislunar space mission design and orbital dynamics analysis.
