Definition
An indirect phasing strategy that uses heteroclinic transfers between Lyapunov orbits near L1 and L2 points to achieve phase adjustment. The spacecraft transfers from the unstable manifold of the L1 Lyapunov orbit to the stable manifold of the L2 Lyapunov orbit, then returns along the reverse manifolds, accumulating phase across libration points.
Application Value
This concept is applicable in cislunar space mission design, orbit optimization, and trajectory planning for spacecraft transfers and maneuver strategies.
