Definition
An approach that approximates the four-body problem by superposing two CRTBPs sharing a common primary (e.g., Sun-Earth and Earth-Moon). Transfer trajectories are found by detecting intersections of invariant manifolds on selected Poincaré sections. Computationally much cheaper than full four-body models.
Application Value
This method approximates four-body dynamics by superposing two CRTBPs, computationally much cheaper than full four-body models and widely used in Earth-Moon low-energy transfer design.
