Asymptotic Tracking

Definition
A libration point orbit control strategy that designs a controller to drive the spacecraft state to converge asymptotically to a nominal orbit over time. Unlike the Floquet mode which targets unstable components, asymptotic tracking uses the full nominal orbit as the target without separating stable and unstable modes. Howell et al. investigated asymptotic tracking for Halo orbits using linear control methods.
