Definition
A flight path that directly connects a near rectilinear halo orbit to a low lunar orbit through two impulsive maneuvers: the first at the NRHO departure point to enter the transfer trajectory, and the second at the trajectory perilune to achieve lunar capture. Unlike multi-segment transfers, a direct transfer consists of a single arc with shorter flight time, suitable for crewed lunar exploration missions.
