Definition
A framework in nonlinear control theory for solving the output regulation problem. The core idea is to design a feedback law such that the plant output asymptotically tracks a reference signal generated by an exosystem while rejecting disturbances of known structure. In libration point orbit station-keeping, the exosystem simultaneously generates the quasi-Halo orbit reference and periodic eccentricity perturbations; the regulation controller achieves tracking and disturbance rejection by solving the Francis-Byrnes-Isidori equations.
Application Value
This concept provides fundamental support in cislunar space research and mission design. In practical applications, the appropriate analysis method should be selected based on specific mission scenarios and constraints.
