Definition
A design method that exactly transforms a nonlinear system into a linear one through nonlinear state feedback and coordinate transformation. The resulting linear system can be controlled using linear control theory. In orbit station-keeping, it linearizes the nonlinear spacecraft dynamics near libration points, but has limited robustness against unmodeled disturbances and digital implementation.
