Definition
A third-order analytical approximation for Halo orbits proposed by Richardson in 1980. By expanding the nonlinear equations of motion near collinear libration points to third order, an analytical expression for Halo orbits is obtained, providing a rapid initial estimate. Combined with differential correction, high-precision numerical solutions can be obtained. This is the standard method for computing Halo orbits.
