Definition
In the resonance phase plane (e.g., the e-σ plane), the curve along which the distance between the spacecraft and Moon equals zero. The collision curve marks the boundary of physically inaccessible regions; periodic resonant orbits must lie outside this curve. It serves as an important geometric reference for analyzing the structure of resonance phase space.
