Definition
An iterative variant of the multiple shooting method that progressively reduces the coupling maneuver magnitude. Starting from a section-forced refined trajectory, the velocity jump at the coupling point is introduced as a variable to be eliminated. The maneuver vector is reduced at each iteration until convergence to a prescribed tolerance, yielding zero-cost transfers when they physically exist.
