Definition
A global optimization method that uniformly samples points in a parameter space, computes and evaluates each one. This study performs coarse and fine grid searches over a three-dimensional search space of initial costates, each requiring millions of trajectory integrations. Simple and direct but computationally expensive, suitable for low-dimensional spaces with fast function evaluations.
