Definition
A phasing maneuver on a Near-Rectilinear Halo Orbit where the chaser spacecraft executes two impulsive burns to rendezvous with a co-orbital target. The first burn departs the nominal orbit to chase or wait for the target; after the transfer time elapses, the second burn restores the chaser to the target's orbital state. Compared with three-impulse strategies, two-impulse phasing is more suitable for large phase difference rendezvous.

This concept plays an important role in cislunar space mission design and orbital dynamics analysis.
