Definition
A transfer method intermediate between IDT and WSB. After TLI and PLSB, the spacecraft enters an elliptical lunar orbit with a large semi-major axis and performs multiple small maneuvers to gradually adjust the orbit plane angle and perilune altitude before injecting into NRHO at perilune with a small velocity increment. EPRM trades longer transition time (19 to 37 days) for significant ΔV savings (from IDT's 390 m/s down to ~260 m/s), making it suitable for time-insensitive cargo missions. The paper presents four sub-types with progressively more maneuvers and adjusted timing to optimize ΔV.
