Definition
A projection plane oriented by angle ψ in the Sun–Earth rotating frame, used to analyze intersections between manifold tubes from different three-body systems. Both the Sun–Earth and Earth–Moon manifold tubes are projected onto this plane to locate transfer points by detecting overlap regions. The PS plane is not a true Poincaré section (which would be 4D in the spatial problem) but a reduced-dimensionality projection.
