Definition
The remaining time required for the spacecraft to fly from its current state to the terminal state, a key parameter in explicit guidance laws. For time-optimal control problems, time-to-go is obtained analytically from the terminal condition of the Hamiltonian via a quartic equation, and its accuracy directly affects the correctness of guidance commands.
