Definition
The angle between the camera boresight and the tangent line from the satellite center to Earth's center. When this angle exceeds the camera design threshold, imaging is free from Earth-atmosphere stray light. The dual-limb observation mode works by maximizing this angle. The paper calculates a minimum demand of 3.5 degrees at the farthest observation distance from cislunar libration points.
