Definition
A methodology that classifies cislunar transfer trajectories into direct and low-energy types based on Jacobi energy and time of flight. Direct transfers have Jacobi energy far below C₁ with 2–6 day flight times; low-energy transfers have Jacobi energy just below C₁ and above C₂, where the neck region barely opens, requiring tens of days.
