Definition
The track formed by the vertical projection of a spacecraft or celestial body onto the lunar surface as it moves over time. In this paper, the lunar sub-satellite track of the probe near the near-lunar point closely overlaps with that of the Moon itself, allowing the Moon's position to approximate the probe's position for TT&C constraint analysis. The Sun's lunar sub-satellite track can be approximated as a constant selenographic latitude circle within one synodic month, moving west to east with a period of approximately one month.
