Definition
A local circular orbit used in the backward integration method for segment-wise velocity correction. Since prolonged backward integration deviates from the approximate tangential direction due to lunar gravitational perturbation, the local circular orbit velocity is computed at each backward integration endpoint. Shooting method correction aligns the spacecraft velocity with the circular orbit, which then serves as the new starting point for continued optimization.
