Definition
The second impulsive maneuver in a direct lunar halo transfer, a tangential burn performed at some point on the manifold segment that injects the spacecraft onto the manifold segment, causing it to asymptotically approach the target halo orbit. This maneuver typically ranges from 500-1000 m/s.
