Definition
In the restricted three-body problem, an orbit type where the particle approaches the collinear libration point region but cannot pass through it, instead turning back to the region it came from. Non-transit orbits lie outside the invariant manifold tubes, in contrast to transit orbits that pass through the libration point region. The boundary between the two types is defined by the edges of the invariant manifold tubes.
