Definition
Perturbation forces arising from the deviation of a body's gravitational field from a perfect sphere, described by spherical harmonic coefficients. For distant cislunar orbits, nonspherical perturbations from the Earth and Moon are negligible. They must be considered in low-orbit missions such as low lunar orbit.
