Definition
A characteristic of periodic orbits whose stability indices have magnitudes slightly greater than one. Such orbits are not strictly stable but diverge extremely slowly, and their invariant manifolds take a long time to depart the orbit vicinity. Cislunar L2 NRHOs typically exhibit mild instability, enabling near-periodic motion over extended periods while generating useful manifolds for trajectory design.
