Definition

A reference frame with its origin at the Earth-Moon barycenter, x-axis directed from Earth to Moon, rotating synchronously with the Earth-Moon orbital angular velocity. Earth and Moon are fixed on the x-axis, and libration points and periodic orbits appear as stationary or quasi-periodic geometric curves. This frame is the fundamental tool for analyzing the spatial geometry of transfer trajectories.
