Earth Restricted Three-Body Problem (ERTBP)
Definition
The Earth Restricted Three-Body Problem (ERTBP) is the specific application of the Elliptic Restricted Three-Body Problem to the Earth-Moon system. Unlike the Circular Restricted Three-Body Problem (CR3BP), which assumes the two primary bodies move in circular orbits, the ERTBP accounts for the eccentricity of the Moon's orbit (), allowing the two primary bodies to move along elliptical orbits. This extension enables the ERTBP to more accurately describe the real dynamical environment of cislunar space.
