Definition
A rotating reference frame with origin at the Earth-Moon barycenter, x-axis pointing toward the Moon, and z-axis aligned with the lunar orbital angular momentum. In the CRTBP it rotates at constant angular velocity; in the ERTBP the angular velocity varies with the Earth-Moon distance. This frame is the standard reference for formulating restricted three-body dynamics in the Earth-Moon system, where libration points and invariant manifolds are defined.
