Definition
A generalization of the classical Lambert problem that allows transfer trajectories to complete multiple revolutions (N = 1, 2, ...) between two positions. For ballistic arcs, multirevolution solutions are distinguished by short-way/long-way branches. For exponential sinusoids, the paper proves time of flight is monotone in the initial flight-path angle, eliminating the need for branch distinctions and yielding a simpler mathematical structure. Multirevolution solutions correspond to longer transfer times and can reduce thrust requirements for deep space missions.
