An additional criterion for determining whether a low-thrust transfer trajectory is suitable for the backward integration method. It requires the Jacobi integral to vary monotonically along the escape segment, ensuring that the backward-integrated trajectory approximates tangential thrust control direction. Non-monotonic Jacobi integral causes the backward trajectory to deviate from tangential control, leading to computation failure.
