Double Pseudo-Range Method

Definition
An initial orbit determination method. Given assumed pseudo-ranges at the first and last observation epochs, the target's position vectors are determined from angular data. A transfer arc (Lambert problem) is solved between these two positions, and theoretical angles at intermediate epochs are computed. The pseudo-ranges are iteratively refined by minimizing the residuals between theoretical and observed angles.
