Definition
Database of celestial body positions derived from high-precision numerical integration, providing positions via lookup and interpolation. A representative example is the JPL DE series ephemeris. Its accuracy far exceeds analytical ephemerides but requires more storage. For libration point orbit prediction, the positions of the Sun and Moon must use numerical ephemerides to ensure accuracy.
