Definition
The process of distributing multiple satellites from a single release point to different phase-angle positions along the same orbit. In the lunar far-side positioning mission, a mother spacecraft releases four CubeSats on a halo orbit stable manifold, and each CubeSat maneuvers to its target phase using onboard propulsion.
Application Value
This concept is applicable in cislunar space mission design, orbit optimization, and trajectory planning for spacecraft transfers and maneuver strategies.
