China Launches Yaogan-40 02 Satellite Group

Summary: At 21:27 Beijing Time on May 11, 2025, China successfully launched the Yaogan-40 02 satellite group aboard a Long March-6 modified (Chang Zheng-6 Gai) carrier rocket from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center. The satellites entered their predetermined orbits and the launch mission was declared a complete success. The satellites are primarily used for electromagnetic environment detection and related technology experiments. This marks the 574th flight of the Long March rocket series.
